Spinning & Swapping with Fat Cats

I've joined my first spin / swap. Have you tried Fat Cat Knits? The spinners and swappers are spinning up 4 fluffy ounces of FatCatKnits' roving and swapping it with someone we've never met.

I'm a novice spinner but I'm Game.........trying to get Game; I hope that after my partner sees this she'll say that I've "got Game."



As promised, here are the goodies that I got from the February's Phat Fiber box. The theme was chocolate and cherries or something close. Feast your beady little eyeballs on all the yum-yums I got.


On another fibery greeness note.............I can't wait to tell y'all about the garden I'm still putting in. Okay, my 'piece of dirt' is just my back yard but I dream of fiber and of dirt. Biiiiggggg dirt! One must have BIG dirt to grow fiber and fibery goodness. My garlic has come up and the strawberries are peeking through. The asparagus needs something..........but we'll touch talk about that a little later.

A Work In Progress

I've finally gotten off my duff and started my blog. What a work in progress. Just like my life, my stash............more to come. I'll have to show off some of my goodies like the February Phat Fiber Box, my Fat Cat Knits fiber that I've spun up for the February Spin Swap.

On the needles.........soxs of course, and various other UFO's, some of which may have turned into globs of felt monsters hiding behind my couch.

I'm trying not to stalk the mail carrier as I wait for Zebisis fiber club box. I can barely stalk the mail carrier as I keep stumbling over my 1st-grader! He tries to high-jack my goodies before I even make it to the house............
